I approach Animal Portraits with the same Eye to capture something of what makes them individual and unique to their owners.
The added magical bit is the diverse relationships we share with them and the affection and bond that can develop between us and them. For some they are fully fledged extended members of the family, others are prized for their uniqueness of breed and special interest, and others are working companions and friends, and it is all of this and more that fascinates me and which I would seek to draw out in my images.
